Two Next Generation Blu-Ray December Releases

In December, fans of The Next Generation will be able to pick up two Blu-ray releases; Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Seventh Season Blu-ray, and Star Trek: The Next Generation: All Good Things Blu-ray.

The two sets will include new bonus material.

Star Trek: The Next Generation – The Seventh Season Blu-ray will include all twenty-six Season Seven episodes and over four hours of bonus material including some new interviews, such as The Sky’s The Limit: The Eclipse Of Star Trek: The Next Generation documentary, the In Conversation: Lensing Star Trek: The Next Generation featurette and a previously-unreleased gag reel. Also included will be deleted scenes.

The Star Trek: The Next Generation – All Good Things Blu-ray release features the two-part The Next Generation finale as a full-length remastered high-def feature. New content will include The Unknown Possibilities of Existence: Making All Good Things…documentary, a new audio commentary (Brannon Braga, Ronald D. Moore), and previously unseen deleted scenes.

No word yet on pricing of each set, which are not yet available for pre-order.

  1. Wasn’t the TNG finale a double length episode when it first aired? IE it should be one long episode on both the boxset and the standalone bluray? Sort of makes the standalone redundant?

  2. The standalone would only be for people who don’t plan on buying the entire season.

  3. Sorry, Mr. Fontaine appeared on DS9, not TNG, and why call him a slimeball just because he occasionally sang in front of some mafioso types who frequented the club?

  4. I’m hoping news of DS9 at least, with maybe the Animated Series, are up next. I figure Voyager only after DS9. Maybe we might get a few more double episode stand alones for TNG? I really wish they’d make those as extended cuts!
