January-February 2015 Trek Conventions And Appearances

There will be fourteen conventions, shows or appearances in January and February 2015 that will feature actors of interest to Star Trek fans. This listing of conventions and shows features actors from all of the televised series and several of the Star Trek movies.

January begins with the Albuquerque Comic Con, to be held January 9-11 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Albuquerque in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In attendance at Albuquerque Comic Con will be William Shatner and Deep Roy.

The New Orleans Comic Con will be held January 9-11 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. In attendance at this convention will be Karl Urban.

The Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention will be held January 11 at the Shrine Auditorium Expo Center in Los Angeles. In attendance at the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention will be Lee Meriwether (Losira), Kim Darby (Miri), Michael Dante (Maab), Morgan Woodward (Captain Ronald Tracey, Dr. Simon Van Gelder), France Nuyen (Elaan of Troyius), Victor Brandt (Crewman Watson, Tongo Rad), Barbara Luna (Lt. Marlena Moreau), and Celeste Yarnall (Yeoman Martha Landon). Marc Cushman will also be there to sign copies of his third volume of These Are The Voyages, which makes its debut at this convention.

Next up is the Hollywood Show, to be held January 23-25 at the Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel in Los Angeles. In attendance at the Hollywood Show will be Nichelle Nichols, Joan Collins, Kim Darby, Teri Garr, and Bill Mumy.

The Salt Lake Comic Con will be held January 29-31 at The Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah. In attendance at Salt Lake Comic Con will be Christopher Lloyd.

Wrapping up January will be the Joco Cruise Crazy 5, an eight-night Western Caribbean cruise that will depart from Fort Lauderdale on January 31st and will return February 8th. On this cruise will be Wil Wheaton.

February begins with the SF Ball 21, to be held Feb. 6-8 at The Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton, England. In attendance at SF Ball 21 will be Robert Duncan McNeill and Manu Intiraymi.

Madison Comic Con will be held Feb. 6-8 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. In attendance at Madison Comic Con will be William Shatner.

Dallas Comic Con Fan Days will be held Feb. 7-8 at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas. In attendance at Dallas Comic Con Fan Days will be Terry Farrell, Nichelle Nichols, and Roberto Picardo.

Gallifrey One will be held Feb. 13-15 at the Marriott Los Angeles Airport in Los Angeles. In attendance at Gallifrey One will be David Gerrold, Chase Masterson, W. Morgan Sheppard, Larry Nemecek, and Deep Roy.

On that same weekend, the Indianapolis Comic Con will be held at the Indianapolis Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. In attendance at the Indianapolis Comic Con will be William Shatner and Anthony Montgomery.

Also on that weekend will be Farpoint, which will be held Feb. 13-15 at the North Baltimore Plaza Hotel in Timonium, Maryland. In attendance at Farpoint will be Tim Russ plus a good number of Star Trek authors.

The Cleveland Comic Con will be held Feb. 20-22 at the Cleveland Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio. In attendance at the Cleveland Comic Con will be William Shatner.

February wraps up with Pensacon, which will be held Feb. 27 – Mar. 1 at the Pensacola Bay Center/Crowne Plaza Grand Hotel in Pensacola, Florida. In attendance at Pensacon will be Marina Sirtis, Olivia d’Abo (Amanda Rogers), David Warner, Tony Todd, and Nichelle Nichols.
