Urban in Aquaman?

2018’s Aquaman might have a familiar nuTrek actor on the project.

The word is that Warner Brothers would like to have Karl Urban in Aquaman.

Aquaman, created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger, first appeared in DC Comics in November 1941.

At this point in time, several scripts for Aquaman are being evaluated and Aquaman might be the first of a four-picture deal, with plenty of money set aside in the budget.

The word is that Warner Brothers is waiting for Star Trek 3 to shoot and finish so that they could have Urban in a supporting role – possibly as the villain of the piece.

Jeff Nichols and Noam Murro are both on the list of potential directors, but it’s early days yet.

  1. I like Karl Urban. I thought he was good in Almost Human, which didn’t make it. I knew it wouldn’t, I’ve never seen that type of show make it past a season yet. It was still good and he was still good in it. I’ve never seen a live Aquaman anything, I’ll watch and see.
