Trek DVD Set Wins Top Home Media Award

The Seventh Annual Home Media Awards were announced yesterday and a Star Trek title took top honors.
Winners for the Home Media Awards were “chosen by a panel of judges in conjunction with an online consumer vote for eligible titles submitted for consideration by studios and distributors.”
The top award, Title of the Year, went to the Star Trek: 50th Anniversary TV and Movie Collection by Paramount Home Media Distribution, and CBS Home Entertainment.
This title also won in the Best Franchise Collection category.
This was not the only Star Trek DVD to receive an award. Star Trek: The Original Series – The Roddenberry Vault won for Best Extras/Bonus Materials and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan – Director’s Cut Blu-Ray won for Best Restoration.
