The first episode of Star Trek: Discovery made its debut on CBS last night, and the ratings are in for the newest Trek series.
8.2 million people watched the premiere episode and the adults 18-49 rating/share was a 1.6/8.
The second episode, which aired on CBS All Access, was responsible for a record number of single day signups at CBS‘s digital streaming subscription service. Star Trek: Discovery helped boost the weekly and monthly signup rate for CBS All Access which had its best week and month for signups ever as well as the best day for single day signups.
