1 min read

Some new coins featuring Star Trek have been released by The Perth Mint and by the Royal Canadian Mint.

The Trek coin released by The Perth Mint features three Star Trek ships; the USS Enterprise, a Romulan Bird-of-Prey, and a Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser.

The two-ounce silver proof colored coin is 99.99% pure silver, and is officially-licensed. The coin comes in Star Trek-themed presentation packaging. Only eight hundred-and-fifty of these coins will be made, and each coin will be accompanied by a numbered certificate.

The Star Trek: The Original Series – Ships 2018 coin is made of 99.99% silver, and comes in a “ready-to-display floating frame.” It comes with a numbered certificate, and only four thousand, five hundred of these special coins will be minted.
