1 min read

Some of the people working on Star Trek: Picard shared the news that filming on the first season of Star Trek: Picard has wrapped.

“That’s a wrap on Star Trek: Picard!!! …at least the filming part,” said VFX supervisor Ante Dekovic via Instagram. “All is left, months of post production.

“Thanks @startrekcbs @michael.chabon, Akiva, @alexkurtzmanofficial and of course @sirpatstew for the experience. . Also a big thank you to everybody who helped us on set with the VFX. Even that for most of the time, it was hard to imagine or understand the things that we do. Can’t wait for the world to watch the show and get their minds blown!”

Dekovic showed some of the gifts given to the crew in a photo accompanying the post, which included items such as caps, shirts, and other items.

Michael Chabon shared a photo of himself taken this weekend at the Vasquez Rocks in California. “That’s a shooting wrap on Season One of #startrekpicard,” he said, via his Instagram account. “There have been so many incredible moments, so many life and career high points, but for a forty-five-plus-year #startrek fan, visiting the sacred Gorn-haunted grounds of #Arena was a peak.”

Star Trek: Picard will debut in 2020.
