First Look: Star Trek XI Movie Adaptation 2

On Wednesday, March 17, IDW Publishing’s Star Trek Movie Adaptation issue #2 will arrive in stores.

Written by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman, Tim Jones and Mike Johnson; with artwork (and cover) by David Messina, this second issue of the Star Trek XI movie adaptation includes some cut scenes.

STMA2Cover031610Young Spock’s woes at school with intolerant classmates is detailed in the comic, including a cut scene where his mother Amanda argues with Sarek about Spock after Spock gets into a fight with taunting boys at school.

Meanwhile, young James T. Kirk has his own woes. His STMA2YoungKirk031610mother is away in space and life with his uncle becomes intolerable for Kirk’s older brother, who runs away.

Star Trek Movie Adaptation #2 will be thirty-two pages in length and will cost $3.99.
